UQ Parnell Building Level 2 Refurbishment
FARA was awarded this project under a design and construct contract to refresh the internal aesthetic of this heritage building.
With limited budget and a compressed construction programme FARA thrived in finding cost effective solutions to the finishes of the computer lab, two physics labs, student learning room and the adjoining corridors.
Working in conjunction with the project designers, service consultants and university project staff, FARA and the team ensured critical elements such as lighting and joinery finishes were correctly selected to add value to the required application.
The end users were noticeably impressed with the updated laboratories and study rooms!
