Sunnybank Hills Shopping Town Atrium Works
FARA was brought in to modernise the aesthetic of this space under a D&C contract.
Acoustic baffles and custom lighting boxes were installed as the new feature ceiling finish. In addition to the ceiling works, FARA modernised several finishes throughout the space including; lighting, walls and columns, handrails to stairs and balconies, and joinery & furniture. Updates to floor tiling was required to meet new compliance standards which FARA was able to tie in seamlessly to the existing floor finishes.
A key component of the project was the management of the scaffold structure required to access the atrium roof. Through adaptive thinking FARA were able to minimise the impact of the scaffolding on
centre operations whilst maintaining the highest standard of safety.
The centre remained fully operational throughout construction to the satisfaction of our client and their tenants.
